On Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, Chicagoland Culver's locations are tapping into the power of community to support a very worthy cause. That day, 47 area locations will donate a percentage of sales to support Cal's Angels, a local pediatric cancer charity.
This is the third consecutive year in which dozens of Chicagoland Culver's are hosting the fundraiser during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Beyond generating crucial visibility for the monumental challenges kids and families face while battling cancer, the fundraiser has also raised an astounding sum to support Cal's Angels: more than $150,000 in the past two years.
“Childhood cancer is a cause that is near and dear to many of us at Culver's and throughout the Chicagoland community, and there is no organization that supports these children and their families in a more meaningful way than Cal's Angels,” said Jim DiVerde, owner-operator of 13 Culver's in the Chicago area. “We're grateful for the opportunity to give back to such a worthy organization and thankful to all our guests throughout the area who will join us to show their support.”
Beyond the percentage of sales donated from each restaurant, guests will have the opportunity to round up their order to support Cal's Angels. Canisters will also be available in every participating restaurant throughout the month of September for guests wishing to make monetary donations.
