Cal's Angels is honored to announce a big win for pediatric cancer patients and their families as Governor Pritzker officially signed Cal's Law on August 27th, 2021, which helps grant individualized cancer treatment to every child.

We will continue to make this a priority in every state moving forward. The approved legislation is an incredible tribute to Cal and a natural extension of the work we do at Cal's Angels—we believe that by providing greater access to diagnostic testing for kids with cancer, lives can be saved.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Representative Seth Lewis, as well as all our politicians and lawmakers, who brought Cal’s Law to the State of Illinois. Representative Lewis said, "Cal’s Law was a huge priority of mine this spring. As a freshman legislator, I wanted to hit the ground running, advocating for legislation that makes a difference in people's lives. Cal’s Law will ensure that kids with cancer have access to comprehensive testing that could help save their lives. I'm proud we were able to come together to get this done."
