Gabe passed away before his 2nd birthday with acute myelogenous leukemia. Gabe was born on May 11th, 2006. Friends called him “Serious Gabe” because of the intense looks he gave people. He loved his big brother Jack, his dog and helping his dad on projects around the house. Gabe was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at 18 months old. Acute myeloid leukemia is a very aggressive form of cancer usually found in the elderly. Gabe was treated at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago and passed away unexpectedly less than 6 months into his treatment. He was 4 days away from his 2nd birthday.

Gabe will always hold a special place in their heart and will always be remembered.

At age 18 months, Gabe was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
