Hope Gala: Raising Funds to Fight Pediatric Cancer

The Hope Gala attracts nearly 1,000 attendees and raised over $1.26 MILLION in 2024 to help kids fighting cancer at all Chicagoland hospitals and the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. About Cal’s Angels
Our mission is simple but vital: granting wishes, raising awareness, and funding research to support children battling cancer. Sadly, the number of families who need our services continues to grow each year due to limited advancements in pediatric cancer treatments.

With the support of our generous donors, we’ve expanded our programs and initiatives to provide critical support to the families we serve. Recent contributions, like our donation to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago for the Echo 550 device, have enabled groundbreaking research into osteosarcoma treatment. Additionally, our partnerships with the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium are helping fund clinical trials for high-risk neuroblastoma and other pediatric cancers. These efforts are paving the way for new treatment options for children.

Why Your Support Matters
Despite progress, children fighting cancer continue to face limited options, and families still hear the heartbreaking words, “Your child has cancer.” Federal funding for pediatric cancer remains at just 4%, making your support more critical than ever.
