Cal’s Angels Comfort Kits are bags filled with items to make a family’s hospital stay more comfortable. The Comfort Kits are available to any oncology family, in-patient or out-patient at Chicagoland Hospitals.

 

WHY WE DO IT

When a family is in need of some comfort or has an unexpected overnight stay at the hospital, the Comfort Kit bags are on hand for the hospital staff to give families. Each bag is filled with some essential items that make a families hospital stay more comfortable. The program idea was originated from a Mom of one of our wish kids, Traci McDowell and is managed by her friends who volunteer their time. Cal’s Angels partnered with Sammons Financial Group to sponsor Cal’s Comfort Kits.
